Loz Campbell previews exclusive first listen of new single "Can't Get Enough" with Riff Yard Media out 5th May ahead of supporting Marco Mendoza on June UK Tour!

The brand new single "Can't Get Enough" from Yorkshire's 3 piece Loz Campbell is set for release 5th May, and we have been lucky enough to get a first listen here at the 'Yard. Known for their hard work and energy on the scene, this single is the first of two due to be released in 2024, continuing on from a busy 2023.

The track itself exudes hints of Halestorm and Heart, brought to life with sultry guitar.

This song has the potential to be an easy crowd pleasing sing-along with opportunities for crowd interactions and call backs - it has a bluesy edge to its alternative rock vibe and shows that Loz Campbell as an outfit are in a phase of progression as they grow. Matched to a black and white raw music video with playful elements, the lusty undertones of the track are well depicted in the videography. I can see an opportunity for some nice twin guitar harmonies in the solo - it's crying for a live guest slot...!

Looking back at the previous singles "Beautiful Liar" and "Bad Girl" you can hear all kinds of female influences from Shirley Manson of Garbage to the ladies of The Runaways and it's a pleasant listen hearing this all come through and be present in our music scene today.

This single was recorded at Monochrome Productions, produced/mixed/mastered by Tom Gittins, a relationship Loz and Gittins have had since she was just 19.

The video was filmed by the band (Loz, Steve & Tom) and edited by Loz herself. Another example of just how much hard work goes into things at this level - if anyone's going to go after It, it's Loz!

If you've not managed to catch them live yet, make sure you grab a ticket to a show and look out for them at Call of The Wild Festival and Firevolt Festival.

Gigs:

10th anniversary gig at Key Club Leeds (18th May)

Headline shows in Glasgow (29th June) and

Camden (31st August).

The band will also join Marco Mendoza on his UK tour this June.
