MAZIAC release 'Fear & Fortune' with lyric video

London tech-prog three piece 'MAZIAC' drop new single with accompanying lyric video for the powerful 'Fear & Fortune' with hints to a new album....

diving deeper into 'Maziac', musically there are some metalcore, groove and nu metal influences but also plenty of melody, particularly in the chorus.

Maziac formed in 2017 after meeting through a mutual friend in post metal band The Ever Living with whom they played their first gig at Boston Music Room in London the following year. They've since released an album and an EP -mixed/mastered by Justin Hill of SikTh -to critical acclaim and shared the stage with bands like Destrage, Black Orchid Empire, Exist Immortal and Skarlett Riot. They recently played Tech-Fest 2023 and are currently working on a new album from which they've already shared 2 singles -'Acid' and the freshly released 'Fear and Fortune'.

"The song is about the feeling of being lucky compared to so many in the world with the creeping awareness that at any moment something bad could happen to make you less fortunate" - says Tony Best.
