Riff Yard Radio #9 - Featuring All Time Low, BRELAND, Avery Anna, Corey Taylor & more!

This weeks Riff Yard Radio is hosted by Nikki Smash featuring some huge artists who have just dropped huge records featuring Riff Yard's Orla Joyce track of the week 'All Time Low & Avril Lavigne - Fake As Hell'.

First up is the killer new Track of the Week chosen by Orla Joyce 'All Time Low & Avril Lavigne - Fake As Hell'. A collaboration you didn't realise you needed until now, what a mighty track this is!

What a banger! Keeping with the theme we have the brand new Twin Atlantic track and it's going back to their earlier pop punkish roots it's a tidy lil ripper here's Twin Atlantic with 'Stuck In A Car With You'. They're also on tour.

The Hoosiers are back with a new long awaited record 'Confidence' and chosen by Orla we're playing Idaho, this is their fist studio record in 8 years.

Next we have Breland with 'Cowboy Don't' from his extended deluxe version of his debut record 'Cross Country' now titled 'Cross Country: The Extra Mile' we were invited to Breland biggest headline show to date at London Electric Ballroom to review the show and it was a killer night be sure to check out our full review & we've made a Spotify playlist of the set list Breland played to go along with the review.

Official Review & Official Live Photos here.

Up next was Breland support on his UK run 'Avery Anna' who is a young up and coming singer songwriter with a great voice, she has so much potential and filled with heart. Here is Avery Anna with 'Narcissist'.

Brent Cobb has his new record out today keeping with the strong country vibe. A beautiful record that I think has to be on the finest of the year and I'm playing its title track 'Southern Star'. This is a magical record and check out my full review of it here.

Great songwriters on todays show sticking with that theme we have Corinne Bailey-Rae with her stunning new record 'Black Rainbows' which I have done a review on so make sure you check out my review and then take a listen to the full record. Corinne Bailey-Rae with the energetic 'New York Transit Queen'.

Corinne Bailey-Rae - Black Rainbows review here.

Corinne is playing three dates in London at the end of October tickets are on sale now.

Another huge record with an incredible story out on the mammoth release day of September 15th is alt-singer-songwriter rapper 'K.Flay' with her new record 'Mono' which is built around a freak accident whilst travelling where K.Flay became permanently deaf in one ear which is one of the most horrific things to happened to anyone let alone a working professional musician. K.Flay has turned hardship into art like many do and she has come out with a stunner of a record which I've also done a review on and really enjoyed. This is the wonderful K.Flay with 'Irish Goodbye featuring Vic Fuentes of Pierce The Veil'.

K.Flay Mono review here.

We've featured Georgina Train a few times on the show and for good reason.... she's amazing. Another brilliant record that I've reviewed and this is one of my favourite tracks from her new record 'Puncture' called 'Animal Clad'.

Georgia Train - Puncture review here.

An amazing record from Georgia there the record is a great journey. Well well well..... Corey Mother Fucking Taylor is back with his second solo record 'CMFT' and you kinda get the feeling he's unstoppable, his musical output is so high but the quality importantly is also with him. The CMFT hype is as ever, very real! Here is a monster of a tune off the new record 'Post Traumatic Blues'.

Such a great voice!

Don Broco are back with a new single with an interesting video title 'Birthday Party'. This comes with the announcement of a packed up run of shows in December including two dates at the Koko which are sold out! Check out the video if you get a chance here is Birthday Party!

We are finishing this monster of a show with South coast prog tech metalers Core Of iO. They've just returned with there latest E.P 'Part 1:iO' it's a Stella E.P and they've just announced a mini tour through-out the south of the UK and you gotta go see Bob and the lads. They're a fantastic live act full of brilliant musicianship and you won't be disappointed. Here is Core Of iO with 'You Got This'.
